How We Work

BDV is a small, founder-operated holding company. We don't raise outside capital and we're not a fund — we use our own capital, time, and hands-on operating experience to run and grow a small number of ventures at once.

Some of what we take on are businesses we start and run ourselves. Others are ventures we back with capital and support, alongside founders already building. The goal isn't a large portfolio — it's finding the one or two things worth going all-in on.

We're based in Amsterdam and generally look close to home, though not exclusively.
